I had a dream that one day I would travel to a far off place where I could be whatever I want and do whatever I wish. This was a time when I was in Middle School. I was interested in daydreams. I combined my daydreaming with traveling and I would reach places all over the world just through my imagination. It was amazing. Imagination was super fun for me. But then, I grew up and things changed.
Eventually, as I got to Highschool, I started reading books on Geography. I became interested in countries and continents. I was fascinated by the vast and diverse geography of the world.
When I got out of high school, I started learning more about the diversities and cultures around the world. While reading about these countries, I felt the intense desire to see these places. This is how I got the idea of visiting Canada. I never knew that one day I would get the opportunity to travel the world, not just Canada. Strange are the ways of life.
As I write this blog post, I am sitting in a luxurious restaurant in Toronto. It is freezing cold outside. December is the coldest month of the year here just like most other places in the world.
It has been three days since I landed here. In these three days, I have seen almost the whole of this city. I am planning on traveling to many other cities in this country. I will keep you updated on my journey. However, there is something I have to share with you. This is an incident that happened during the Canada Immigration process.
As I was going through to the Canada Immigration process, I came across this girl from Finland. She was a travel blogger. She happened to recognize me. She said that she had been following me on Instagram for almost three years. She said that she was inspired by the way I present my videos. She also said that those informational videos have helped her choose her career as a travel photographer. She loves to capture places all over the world. This is something that filled me with satisfaction. I never knew that my work could have such an impact on anyone. I was glad to have met her.
With this incident, I have become more confident about my skills. My first visit to Canada has given me a good experience so far. I hope that I get to take back more memories like this and a lot of learning from this trip. I am also hoping that I get to make many more trips to this beautiful country later. The country is so big that you can’t explore it in a short time. I will keep you posted on everything about this trip. Till then, stay safe and keep smiling. God bless!
