It is denoted by the symbol Z and is measured in Ohms. It is present in all the components of an electrical circuit and is calculated by Vector addition of Resistance. Depending on the input signal`s frequency, a reactive component changes the amount of resistance that they offer in a circuit but the Impedance varies according to the amount of signal entering it.
